Cooking of the day

This is what I always do after a long day of shopping in Oxford Street; cooking! Tom Yam Pasta 2009

I name this Tom Yam Pasta. Not sure if there is such dish in the world yet, but yeah, I use the concept of “Secukup rasa”. It’s a Malay word (time to learn some Malay for those who don’t understand it :P)  Bon Appetite!!

A decent Meal

Meal of the day

How to make it?

First of all, marinate chicken with Teriyaki Sauce (GBP2.40 in Sainsbury). Make sure you cut them into small pieces. Stir-fry the chicken with some olive oil. Once the meat turned white (means half-cooked) add 100ml of dilute corn starch solution (starch + water) and let it boils to half dry. This will leave the juicy gravy surrounding the soft and yummy chicken.

Next is the making of Broccoli. First of all, prepare some fresh broccoli and well cut onions and garlic. Stir-fry onions and garlic with olive oil and then add the well sized broccoli and continue frying. After 5 minutes of stir-fry, add some water+oyster sauce (can get it from China Town). Use the lid to cover the pan and let them boils. The broccoli is ready when the water dry out.

And lastly, don’t forget to cook rice. This is one simple meal to make. It should not take longer than 30 minutes. Enjoy..
