Dancing day..

Recently I've been dancing quite a bit.. Annoyingly I neglect my work load and now they are piling up on top of my head.. Just 3 more days to focus on my upcoming dancing competition then I will be able to get my grip on my studies.. Yesterday alone I skipped one class but dance from 2 pm to 11 pm with different dancing partners.. And I had just had my lab this morning.. I think I need some rest.. My stress level start to increase proportionally with the increase of my work load.. I need loads of energy and less distraction.. Gambateh .. I will manage.. Good luck to me.. No one but me can help me.

Acoustic Amplifier for iPhone

Yesterday in my dance practice, one of my friends showed me a very interesting device that could amplify the music, alarm or any sound from the iPhone. It is really interesting. I checked it out and found out it. It is a product by GRIFFIN Technology.
The picture below shows how iPhone is placed attached to the AirCurve device and could be amplified to ~10dB. aircurve_2 It was one piece of well design engineering application that could make a lot of money out of it. I am very impressed.
You could even charge and sync at the same time using Griffin dock cable or the charge and sync cable that come with the iPhone while playing music.aircurve_charging I’ve just ordered one from the Amazon.co.uk (around £10 to £12)and I can’t wait for it to arrive. For more information on this gadget, check it out in

Invictus

Invictus, a movie by famous Morgan Freeman potrait as the president of South Africa. It was a great movie as well as its history. It's like making nothing impossible.. Very inspiring I would add.

Bad luck

Today wake up at around 1045 am and head off to Union Dining Hall for some MJ M Night choreography to do. Ended at 2 pm and stayed in there practicing cha cha and jive dances. Pretty worn out. The I tried making a MJ spine and pose with the music sounds like " You can hit by DUM DUM ... You can strucked by DUM. . A smooth criminal !!! Awww" (shout out loud ) and that is when I spinned and my specs fell and cracked on the floor..

Then I was like.. What the hell!!

This is my broken specs... Sad

Cooking of the day

This is what I always do after a long day of shopping in Oxford Street; cooking! Tom Yam Pasta 2009

I name this Tom Yam Pasta. Not sure if there is such dish in the world yet, but yeah, I use the concept of “Secukup rasa”. It’s a Malay word (time to learn some Malay for those who don’t understand it :P)  Bon Appetite!!

A decent Meal

Meal of the day

How to make it?

First of all, marinate chicken with Teriyaki Sauce (GBP2.40 in Sainsbury). Make sure you cut them into small pieces. Stir-fry the chicken with some olive oil. Once the meat turned white (means half-cooked) add 100ml of dilute corn starch solution (starch + water) and let it boils to half dry. This will leave the juicy gravy surrounding the soft and yummy chicken.

Next is the making of Broccoli. First of all, prepare some fresh broccoli and well cut onions and garlic. Stir-fry onions and garlic with olive oil and then add the well sized broccoli and continue frying. After 5 minutes of stir-fry, add some water+oyster sauce (can get it from China Town). Use the lid to cover the pan and let them boils. The broccoli is ready when the water dry out.

And lastly, don’t forget to cook rice. This is one simple meal to make. It should not take longer than 30 minutes. Enjoy..

Oh NO!!

Today I went to Sainsbury in front of my house and get some groceries. Bought 2 bag full of food and stuff. I paid using my card and took everything .. EXCEPT FOR THE CARD :( What a bad day. I was lucky that I manage to transfer all of my money into another bank account. FUUHHH!! What a day..
